So for my very first shoot, I was fortunate to hook up with a very nice Russian girl that I connected with through ModelMayhem.com. Luxy Kreynes was gracious enough to work with a completely inexperience photographer (ME!) to do my very first model shoot.
We were fortunate to have some decent weather during the shoot. The rain stopped, and afforded us some dramatic clouds and nice lighting. The shoot took place on May 19 at Wreck Beach, which is Vancouver’s only nude beach. Thankfully with the crappy weather there was virtually nobody but a few dog-walkers on the beach. I was really worried that a guy running around on a nude beach with a big SLR would get punched in the head!
We took a number of shots right on the beach, and then took some up the stairs and trail that leads down to the beach.

very nice photos Steve. sometimes i bad photo can make a beautiful thing look ugly…but your shots compliment her very well.
