Last weekend I spent a few hours on Saturday with a beautiful model named Alina. Originally hailing from Russia, this petite young lady came to Vancouver recently by way of the sleepy little Kooteny town of Nelson, BC.
She hadn’t done a photoshoot in almost three years, so she was excited to get back in the fold. I was feeling much more comfortable working with models now and we had a great free-flowing time shifting from Gastown, to Canada Place to Stanley Park.
I think our best shots turned out near the lighthouse and just before Lumberman’s Arch in Stanley park. Once again the day turned out perfect with very little sun, high clouds and no rain. Gotta love even lighting with no shadows!
Alina’s infectious smile was evident in almost every photo — it was really hard to get her to NOT smile. But that’s ok, she had a great smile and some captivating eyes. It was a lot of fun, and I think we got some great shots.
Find the set of pics on my Flickr site as usual.
