For my fourth shoot, I had the good fortune to meet up with Athena through Model Mayhem. She’s a 16-year old with high ambitions in the modeling world. I was fortunate to be the first photographer to really shoot her somewhat professionally (why do I still have an aversion to calling myself a professional photographer! LOL).
For her first shoot ever, she was very accommodating and very professional. She’s a very pretty girl and has a lot going for her! We shot at Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver on a very hot, sunny day. It was challenging to work within the bright sunlight, but we had some fun doing it. We shot near a pond, on a bridge, near a waterfall and also a fountain. I’ve published a few photos on my flickr site already and will be publishing more soon.
I also have another shoot booked with Athena tomorrow where we’re going to do a car/bike shoot kind of like those Import Tuner magazines — but this time with a twist. We’re going to shoot this in a cemetery! That is…if we don’t get kicked out. Stay tuned!
