Model Shoot: Cerise

Lounge DressA few weeks ago I had a day of shooting where I had the good fortune to shoot with Stacy during the early afternoon in Vancouver, then later in the afternoon/early evening in Richmond with Cerise. When we first met up it was at an elementary school playground for a photo-story I conceptualized (I’m still editing those photos!), but just as the sun was going down we shot some photos at the Richmond City Hall.

Pillar TimeCerise chose a beautiful yellow dress that looked like a prom dress. It was a nice contrast to the lush green around city hall, and the late sun reflected off it rather nicely. I used my reflector and SB600 off-camera bouncing off the reflector or as a key-shift light as needed. I’m finally starting to get much more comfortable using my flash and reflector effectively, even when competing with a very bright sun. I’ll hopefully be able to get the playground photo-story up later this week. Visit my flick site for all the photos from this set.

One response so far, want to say something?
