After an incredibly busy last couple of weeks being backlogged with photos to edit, and of course the paid work that has to get done, I’ve finally gotten around to editing a couple of more sets of photos from this shoot. Shot in the same location as the Juliana set I posted recently, this one with Queenie was kind of impromptu. You see, Queenie was our makeup artist for the day, but we convinced her that we needed to take her photos too.
She’s very photogenic, albeit a bit shy, but I think she took some great photos! I used a
two-light setup in the cramped entry way to shoot this. One SB-600 bouncing off an umbrella high and to the left with a bare SB-25 very high and to the right-rear to give a bit of a backlight/hairlight effect. I was quite happy the way these turned out (you can see the whole set here). It doesn’t hurt that the model/MUA is very cute.
We’re shooting in the same studio this weekend, and I think the challenge will be to get different looks in the same locations so that they don’t all start looking like the same place!
