On December 1st of last year (why does that sound like such a long time ago when I say “last year?”), I shot in studio with my photographer partner-in-crime, Jamie Furlong. We ended up having five models and two makeup artists — one of which also did some modeling for us. So it was a very busy day!
One of the models I worked with was Samantha Kerik. She has a very refreshing look to her, and she’s also a very emotive and seductive performer in front of the camera. I guess being an actress also helps that. My camera just loved shooting 
her and I think I snapped about 600 exposures during the hour-ish I had to work with her.
Samantha was a lot of fun to work with and she was very creative with her poses and moved really well during the shoot. I’ve noticed that during many of my shoots, the models who move and flow best, are often also actors or dancers. It makes a huge difference to the way the photos come out.
