This thing is awesome. It allows me to catch my hockey games when I’m on the road in the US and can’t find anyone who actually shows hockey games on TV. It allows me to watch TV on one of my monitors in the office here, without actually having cable in my office. But most of all it allows me to watch TV or my DVR content on my laptop, while I’m outside in the hot tub or lounging on the back deck.

This is what it’s all about! Chris Pirillo goes into some of the details if you want to see it in action in one of his videos. He talks a lot about how it also works on your smartphone, but up here in Canada, our data plans suck serious a$$, so most of us here will never run it on that. :(
